It was a nice treat to see Tom Morello play again. He made his first appearance on stage with Bruce on April 8, 2008 at the Anaheim Pond, so this was almost an expected return appearance from this date, 16 years ago.

Open all Night was performed with the entire 17 piece band in the style it was performed back in the Seeger Sessions Tour. The E Street Horns on this one were really outstanding, especially Ozzie on the trombone....

listened to it once and then gave it to a friend. NOT having The Promised Land and Prove It All Night was criminal, and don't get me started on cutting out Backstreets before Sad Eyes. Nope. My bootlegs at the time (I didn't have many but they were amazing) were much better than this. Plus, his had NO songs from the Passaic, Agora, or Winterland '78 shows, they were all from Roxy (which is a great show, don't get me wrong) but that whole '78 tour could have been included on the set and nobody would have minded except the new fans who jumped on board with BITUSA. And yes, I know, this box set was not meant for me anyway, but for the more casual fans and the ones who jumped on board in 1984 for the first time.
